2009 Roush Stage 3 Mustang Model Review
07th October 2008
Roush has done it once again. They have created another model in the ‘pony-car’ line-up from Ford Mustang and have created something that Mustang enthusiasts will love and enjoy. The 2009 Roush Mustang Stage 3 has been produced and modified with the styling that we have come to expect - but with more power.
The new 2009 model adds upgraded handling, styling, and of course more power for the pleasure of consumers. It has been equipped with a supercharger 4.6 liter V8 engine that is able to produce 430 horsepower. This is the same engine that can be found in the 427-R. It is available in both 5-speed automatic and 5-speed manual transmission.
This 430 horsepower engine proves to consumers just how fast and powerful it is thanks to the power of acceleration. There is no lack of RPM and this makes it even more desirable. Though you might have to get used to the short-throw shifter in the manual-transmission models.
Riding in the new
Roush Stage 3 Mustang can be stiff - but not to the point that you have an uncomfortable ride. The suspension has been tuned specifically for track duty - but it seems to be more compliant in patchy pavement.
The steering is sharp and yet light all at the same time making drivers wish for more feedback. The on-center is a bit off as well and you may find yourself performing corrections in order to keep the car going straight. But the brakes are good and strong allowing for quick and easy stopping time.
In the end it is comfortable and has all of the features that we would want in any car that we own. The interior of the Mustang offers us the same comfort and design that gives us a great ride.
