Review of The Country Club Business
You may have heard of this new online gaming business called The Country Club. From many online reviews about this business, it appears to be a stable and reliable company and that the business has great potential to continue to pay their distributors for years to come. So how true will this be with all the hype in the internet?

We look a bit further at the parent company of The Country Club, MVP Network, Inc based in St. Louis, Missouri.

MVP Network, Inc. is an 11 year old company which produces a very popular software package for playing golf online. I have tried out the golfing game out of curiosity and as part of market testing. After all, the quality of the gaming product is a critical factor in determining the success of the business. For someone who hates to be out in the sun for hours, one can really feel the excitement of swinging the golf club in an 18-hole game all in the comfort of the living room. Not bad for my first swing!

The game graphics is realistic on the overall. As a gamer myself, I understand how fun and "addictive" computer games can be. Well, that perhaps explain why The Country Club is in this business providing fun and entertainment for the whole family.

The worldwide video game industry had revenues of $24.5 billion last year. This figure actually overtook movie box-office receipts. Sales are expected to soar to $55 billion by 2008, according to Price Waterhouse Coopers.

Looking at the business as a whole, The Country Club has chosen to be in a growing industry at the right time. The core strategy of The Country Club is simple. Games are distributed through distributors via CDs and online download. Anyone can be a distributor, as the price to start the business is only $99 for 5 CDs that retail at $39.95 each and the package also comes with a game download website with 1000 games that retail for $10,000.

For those who are keen on selling the games and profiting from it, this presents itself as a good and affordable business to run. But you will realise that the really lucrative part of The Country Club business is in growing the distributor family. Each distributor can sponsor other distributors into the business. That's where the business pays out multiple bonuses to the sponsor monthly. This business is smart. If you are not interested in selling the games, you can just give the CDs away as a gift to your friends or relatives who may be interested to be a distributor. Both ways, one can earn good money, and build a substantial residual income.

But one shortcoming I feel about the business is the main website is not quite beautifully done. Products are of excellent quality, and the commission structure is solid, but they could have done more to make their website more attractive. Afterall, presentation does count. But I figure that they are confident enough in the quality of their products and business model. In any case, I have known of people who are growing their income with this business, so it very much speaks volumes as a successful new kid on the block.
