NetIMonitor (NIM) software is a high-performance, Linux Based network management and monitoring solution for large-scale networks. NIM provides real time traffic monitoring, smart flow filtration, aggregation and statistical evaluation. NIM is capable
of providing multi-criterial data flow selection using IP addresses, protocols, ports etc., including heuristic methods for protocols using dynamic ports.

NIM works under all distributions of Linux (Debian, RedHat, Suse, Slackware, etc.), but the Debian distribution is preferred. The Linux environment under which NIM software runs is considerable more stable and efficient, increasing the performance of the software. Customers lacking Linux experienced can easily use also our self-installing software CD ISO version. NetFlow export versions 1,5,6,7 and 9 are supported.

Manufacturer devices supporting NIM software are: Cisco Systems, Juniper, Extreme Networks and 3COM. NIM supports device series (Cisco routers and/or switches): 1400, 1600, 1700, 2500/2600, 3600, 4500/4700, S5300/5800, 7200/7500, Catalyst 4500, Catalyst 5000/6500/7600, ESR 10000, GSR 12000. Please, ask your hardware supplier if your devices support NetFlow export.
